"Keith Van Horn is far more than a basketball player," Mavs owner Mark Cuban said.

This is true. Cuban watched Van Horn, who is working on his MBA, study industrial engineering on the team bus. He saw a guy arm wrestling injuries, a series of tough trades and the trickle-down effect they had on his wife and kids. His decision to sit out, Cuban said, "shows someone who is in control of his future."

Van Horn will be back next season. At least, that's the plan. But so much can happen between now and then.

With all the negative criticism about keith Van Horn, I will always be his solid fan and supporter.

The dallas mavericks have traded Marquis Daniels for Austin Croshere, and it is most unlikely that they will re-signed Keith Van Horn.

Wherever team KVH play, I still believe he will improved this coming season.

I would like to see Keith Van Horn back again with his old Jersey 44.

The Miami Heat Grab its first ever NBA championship trophy defeating the Dallas Mavericks (my team) 95-92 in Game 6.

I guess my prediction was wrong. :-)

The Dallas Mavericks wasn't lucky this series.

The 2005-2006 season was a great year for the Mavericks with their huge accomplishment.
I am confident that this team will be back and be a championship contender again next year.

Meanwhile my boy Keith Van Horn once again, did'nt have the opportunity to help the Mavericks because Coach Avery did not give him playing time.

In my opinion I think Coach Avery needs another year or two to get a championship. Newbies doesn't win championship remember when Larry Bird coached the Pacers?

What If Keith Van Horn Was a Heat?

Obviously Keith Van Horn was not a factor in the NBA Finals Games 3-5. So I suddenly think, What if Keith Van Horn was a player of the Miami Heat??

What do you think will happen?

In my opinion if keith van horn was a heat, he would be averaging at least 14 points a game considering that he is a forward with versatile skill.

Bottom line is, Coach avery should give KVH at least 10 minutes of playing time!

NBA Finals Shifts to Dallas

The Dallas Mavericks suffers a frustrating loss in Game 5. Miami escaped with a 101-100 win to take the lead of the NBA Finals series.

Now Game 6 goes back to Dallas homecourt, it's do or die for the Mavericks. The Mavs must win the last two games to become NBA champions.

Kudos to D-wade for playing great tonight.

NBA Finals Series Tied

The Dallas Mavericks lost Game 4 and now the series is tied at 2-2, it's like back again to 0-0.

The Mavs struggled to sink their shots. Dirk was a no show making 2/14 field goals.

Final score was Miami 98 - Dallas 74

Notes: In the past two games coach avery is using few substitions. I don't know if this a coincidence but if he does this, the Mavs lose.

In Game 4 where most of the starting players are struggling, coach avery did'nt give minutes of playing time to other offensive threats in its reserves. I think keith van horn should've contributed some offense if he was inserted for at least 15 minutes.

Game 5 will still be played in Miami, I hope Mavs will win game 5 and close the series on Game 6 at home.

Mavs Lost Game 3

Miami went on an 18-4 run to overcome a 13-point fourth-quarter deficit and take back the lead late in the 4th quarter.

Dallas had an oppurtunity to tie the game but Dirk nowitzki miss a free throw attempt that led to a Miami win 98-96.

Notes: I think the reason why Dallas lost this game is because coach Avery Johnson did not use more Mavs players on the bench in the 4th quarter. I believe Mavs players with fresh legs would have prevented Miami's 4th quarter comeback.

Series is now 2-1 in favor of Dallas Mavericks

Game 4 will be on Thursday.

In the past few days tons of heart-breaking criticism was thrown to the Dallas Mavericks forward.

He is being criticized for lack of defensive efforts and throwing low percentage shots.

I am a huge fan of KVH and I also notice that he did not play well in the the Western Conference Finals first 2 games.

Keith just got back from a hand surgery, and maybe it's the reason why he lacks confidence and affecting his shots.

There are times when player could not get into his rhythm no matter how long he stays on the court.

Remember, when Jason Kidd scores "ZERO" in a game 7 against the Pistons?

I believe in Game 3 and onwards KVH will bounce back from the ugly performances of the last two games.

Coach Avery Johnson trusts in Keith Van Horn's talent. Why? Well, Avery would not give him a minute of playing time in the first place. Plus this guy has more playoff experience than other guys on the Mavs roster.

I hope Keith Van Horn will not be intimated; he must be inspired, overcome criticism and show to the world that he can still play awesome basketball.

Watch out for a KVH surprise on Game 3 at Phoenix!

The Dallas Mavericks was unsuccessful in closing out the Spurs at Game 6.

The San Antonio Spurs edge the Mavs 91-86 to force a Game 7 on Monday.

Keith Van Horn had 10 points and two three pointers in Friday's loss to the Spurs.

This was KVH's real action since suffering a hand injury, Keith Van Horn played a big role off the bench for Dallas.

Keith Van Horn Returned to play for the Game 5 Playoff series against the San Antonio Spurs.

The Mavs failed to seal the win and will try again at home to eliminate the Spurs.

Keith Van Horn played for the first time since suffering from a hand injury. KVH played only 2 minutes, the rust is very much evident.

Keith Van Horn had his broken right hand examined by doctors today and was given initial permission to begin shooting and non-contact conditioning workouts. KVH has been sidelined since March 31 and is likely to need at least 7 to 10 days healing period before he'll be ready to play again probably in the late second round of the playoffs.

This is a a good news for the Dallas Mavericks! The Mavs sweep the Memphis Grizzles 4-0 in the 1st round of the playoffs. The Mavs will be facing the winner of the Spurs-Kings series in the 2nd round.

Dallas Mavericks Small Forward Keith Van Horn will be on the 13-man playoff roster, which is due at 2 p.m. today, Avery Johnson said.

Van Horn had missed the last nine games of the regular season with a broken right hand which required him surgery. A timetable for his return calls for him to be cleared for non-contact drills in two to three weeks. The Mavericks are hoping that Keith Van Horn will be available to play at some point during the playoffs.

If the Mavs make it to the Western Finals it is probable that Keith Van Horn will be playing at that point.

Dallas Mavericks forward Keith Van Horn broke his right hand last friday night when jammed his hand on the ball while attempting to make a steal.

A Surgery will be performed to repair a broken bone between the wrist and the base of the thumb after the swelling subsides.

Mavericks coach Avery Johnson said there was no timetable for Van Horn's return. With less than three weeks remaining in the regular season, it's unlikely that Van Horn would be available for the playoffs.

"He's out for an extended period of time," Johnson said. "We've lost an important part of our rotation."

He will be a free agent next season. It is most likely that Keith Van Horn will end up on a different team.

Keith Van Horn is averaging 8.9 points, 3.6 rebounds and 20.4 minutes per game this season.
